AC450 No Sync Pulse Available
Few Days ago, I have a Message on the System Status on One Node Only (Node 4 Network 12) and the Message is "No Sync Pulse Available" and it is Repeated Several Times from Time to Time and No Time Drift Happened i.e. The Time is Adjusted Properly.
So Can the Problem be a Hardware for Example (Network cables, CS513, Switches, etc..) or the Problem Can be Software and the Controller Needs to be Restarted
Also Can I Set the Time from the Engineering Station again as a way to Solve the Problem?
Note1: Node 3 is the Clock Master and Node 4 is the Backup Clock Master and CLOCK_SYNCH is 1,3,1 For Node 3 and Node 4.
Note2: When I Connect to Node 4 Through Online Builder and Write the Command LCLKP the Result "This is the Backup Node, Synched by High Precision Time, iflag=1, Time Last Set From Node 3" and Also at the Same time of this Message, I got another Message on the System Status "No Sync Pulse Available on Node 4 Net12 " and "No Sync Pulse Available on Node 21 Net12 " (Node 21 is the Engineering Station From which I Opened the Online Builder.
Thanks a lot

Hello
I recommend you to use CLS parameters 1,2,1 instead of 1,3,1 in your clock master nodes.
With LOC TIME= 2 a node will listed to both High precision time sync and standard time sync, and always listen to the best available time sync.
This is not described in the manuals.
We recommend the use of Value 2 which is default for all nodes where you currently have 3, for best functionality.
Another issue you may face is that the High precision time sync task may stall unexpectedly in older versions of controllers, This is solved in latest version of AC410/450.
You may also check the task with command LTI CXLT130. CXLT130 shall not be dormant, if so you have to reactivate it with command ACT CXLT130.
Older controller versions did even had some issues with intermittent cosmetic system messages like "No Sync Pulse Available", even if everything was OK
