Hi,
My recent experience with this is: 2 redundant ASCS servers, 800A 6.0.3.2, 2 operator clients, AC800M.
We have installed SmartClient 2.3 (https) on one of the servers. System extension is executed by both servers.
Don't have a visible impact on the system performance.
SmartClients are working well on clients, directly connected to the client network (inside the system). As you probably know - only visualization, no control.
Still we have a difficulties to run the clients trough the router (from the plant network).
I succeed to run the client remotely only in SC mode trough the router (trends only, because our screens are PG2).
Still there is no success in PG2 mode (SC?feature=SCPG2) trough the router.
It would be interesting to me to see the other comments too
