What is your layout of computers and PLCs?
A map of nodes and IP addresses, etc. would help...
The Network filtering (Recommended) item in the SCC is only neccessary if you have more than one NIC in a multi node system (servers & clients). You don't need it in a single server node (PLCs don't count in).
Can you perform a Deploy?
Is the PLC Server/SoftPoint Server service (and corresponding AdsScadaSrv.exe, AdsCsCommSrv.exe listed in Task Manager) and running in the Service Structure?
So you have to change the server configuration to be the same as the Plc.
So check the IP address of the server network card
Change the IP address to be the same range as your PLC To change IP addresses, execute the following steps. 1. Log in as SysAdmin. 2. Change the IP address of the computer through Windows Control Panel. 3. Update the Host file in the server and all clients to reflect the changed address. The file can be found in the path C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. Update the file using Notepad. 4. Restart the system after changing the IP addresses.
