Add a Node in 800xA 6.1
I have set up a system in 800xA 6.1 where i have one aspect server and one operator client.
Both nodes are made in a virtual environment.
I have run the NPT in both nodes, using same service account, they are both in same workgroup.
I have created a system in the aspect server and installed all features and deployed.
Now i want to add the operator client, but it doesn't show up in the drop down list.
I'm able to ping the client with ip and computer name.
AS IP: 10.235.9.170
OP IP: 10.235.9.177
In RNRP i have used explicit addressing since the ip does not follow the standards.
I only have one network so the network filtering is switched off.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks!
Alexander

SCC uses a MS generic discovery API to search for "candidates" to add.
The candidate must run the Installer Agent service using the same account. Does filesharing work between the nodes, eg does DIR \\othernode\c$ work?
Has firewall discovered the NICs as "Workgroup"? If "Unknown" discovery may fail to pass the firewall.

Are you adding the client via System Configuration Console?
Configuration Wizard is not to be used for this anymore.
