MBTCPRead status of -7006 with GE Multilin 339 Relay
I am trying to read the User Map Registers in a GE Multilin 339 relay; the registers start at 30524. I seem to have communications with the Relay; MBTCPConnect status is 1 and valid is true. I have StartAddr configured as '%IW524' on the MBTCPRead block. I have tried connecting as both Slave and Gateway, but results are the same.

Several Posts are available in this AKS Forum for this -7006 timeout error.

Try to give enough info like settings and configurations screenshots.
It's always good to test with Third Party Modbus Master Simulator like Modscan etc., where we can easily try many combinations.

Try to use a Modbus simulator to check the status, if device is rachable most of the time ModbusTCP connect block easily get the link status.
Since -7006 indicate (There is no response from the slave. The parameter by the name "timeout time" is configured in the Control Builder. The range is 500 to 6000 ms.) register is not readable to controller.
