PLC device is not discovering in IP CONFG TOOL
Hello all,
I am having a very strange issue from the PLC
I am using PM554 ETH PLC and using ETH for communication
For past times I was using a router without an Internet connection available for communicating with my PLC
IP Details were given to the PLC,
IP: 192.168.1.10
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
It was working completely fine while PC was in the wi-fi of the same router.
Now I have tried it connecting with another Router which has access to the Internet
its IP range is 192.168.2.2 - 192.168.2.100
Gateway is 192.168.2.1
Subnet is 255.255.255.0
I have made LAN from the Router to the PLC, Before connecting it I have changed the IP address of the PLC to the below,
IP: 192.168.2.45
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.1
Also, Now I'm in the wi-fi of the router also tried with LAN Cable to the PC for the discovery of the PLC
Now while trying with IP Configuration Tool for a scan it is not showing my PLC?
While checking with the network the PLC is not showing in there also. I have done this with IP Scanners also with the site of the router which all are connected to it. PLC is not in there also
What will be the issue causing this?
should I do anything more than I described above?
Green LED on the ETH port of the PLC is stable and Yellow one is blinking continuously and never stops blinking( Don't know whether this info was required or not)

And you have also changed IP on your computer to 192.168.2.x?

Yes while connecting to the routers wifi, DHCP is enabled.So they are in the same network

have you verify that using "ipconfig" in command promp?

Some routers do isolate WIFI and Cable networks. They granting internet access to both networks, but no access to each other.
You should check the router's settings. Look for something like "Network Separation" or "Guest WLAN".
