Hi Gents, We face a problem on VFD ACS580 FBA Communication and I/O communication error (Warning A7C1).
Hi Flavio,
Thanks for your prompt reply. we commissioned VFD ACS580 last year. The drives are operated from B&R PLC with Ethernet communication protocol. i clearly understood the parameters 50.51.52.53 which you are mentioned. This alarm (A7C1) is came in between running may be after one day or even less or more.
kindly suggested me, can we over come this fault to update DRIVE FIRMWARE or by replacing FENA-21 Ethernet adaptor.
Please see the attached pictures of drives.

Hi Imran
according to the ACS580 FW manual, according to fault 5098, it would seem that to solve the problem, just reset the converter or turn off and on again. I'm sure you've already tried, without great results, otherwise you wouldn't have written here in the forum.
I have seen from the photos that you have more than one drive connected: does the problem occur on one drive or on all / more than one?
If it occurs on more than one drive, I fear that the problem may reside elsewhere, for example in some problem in cyclic communication with the PLC, if instead it occurs only on one drive, there may be a problem in that drive's CCU-23 , you could try to change the control card of that drive with another of the same size, to see if the problem moves on the drive you mounted the offending card.
At that point you would be sure that the problem is right on that drive's CCU card.
Alternatively, you may hear the service closest to your area to find out if they can help you.
Unfortunately, there are so many possible cases that it is difficult at this moment to give you other suggestions.
If there are any developments, let me know, as far as I can I will try to help you
