In one of the LPG Bottling Plant we have configured Scheduler Service and through that we were generating certain reports. It was working for a quite a long time but after that it suddenly got stopped. The service was running initially in primary ASCS where CLS is running. even log over feature is also not working after that
Following things are tried. 1. Disabling service in Service structure - Scheduler service - Service Provider Definition and then enabling it back. 2. Deleting the service group and then un-installed and installed back after that reconfigure the service group and service. 3. Deploying the service in other client machine in connected in network(other than ASCS).
But scheduler service is not coming up. 4. We have checked that the data direct is working, as when we are opening the template and in Formula tab clicking on "Calculate Now" the values are getting updated. 5. One thing which is observed and is different from other installation is that "ABB Client License Manager" Service in Service consoles are running under 800xAInstaller logon. 6. What all precaution we should take to switchover the logon of "ABB Client License Manager" from installer account to service account.
Also is this could be a reason for not working of scheduler service ?
It is hard to tell from your description what the problem could be...The Licensing should not have an impact as the Scheduler and datadirect are part of the core product and shouldn't be affected by licensing issues. I would think that something changed somewhere in your system that caused this problem. If the Scheduling service is not running and you have something changed with your licensing user, has there been any user changes made? If so so this may effect certain services, ie the Scheduler as it needs access to the Excel sheets that are needed... Probably need someone to come along and check your system out...
