Create a FAIL in AC800 for testing
Good morning,
I wonder if there's a way to create a FAIL signal from an AC800 CPU (PM851) to set the associated system variable (for fault indication in a master presentation system)? The WARNING is easy to create by disconnecting the battery for example but I can't find out any way to create a FAIL state. It's a single CPU configuration with a number of I/O:s locally connected, single network (ethernet). Nothing fancy.
In "worst case" I will disconnect the output of the supervision block from the CPU and connect it to a TRUE constant just to let the signal "flow" through the OPC-server, master GW and so on. And, of course, after that reconnect the signal to the supervision block. Somewhat tested then....
Any ideas?
