Image Backup
What is the best 3rd party image backup software compatible with and recommended by ABB for 800xA ? And whether native windows server backup is recommended for creating image backup?
What is the image backup size per node (Full and Incremental) to be considered while designing a backup storage server ? Any guideline document is available?

I use Acronis, works great. Dont know if ABB recommends it, but i rather use an Acronis restore than 800xa system restore.
There is no general recommendation made by ABB other than to perform cold drive imaging.
Cold = with the computer being backed up shut down and booted on some alternative media (which should not be such a great deal if you have redundant servers). Better periodically test & know the capabilities of your system "for real" than just anticipating your system redundancy is operational by looking at green circles in the System Status viewer tool.
Any tool capable of creating and restoring a drive image should do the job.
The built-in imaging of Microsoft Windows should also suffice.
Drive images are convenient, but there are scenarios when a system backup is preferred over a drive image; e.g. after an accidental deletion of a smaller part of your configuration. Instead of shutting everything down to load the disk images on all servers, you can restore the lost part(s) from your full backup using import and Locate...; or restore the entire last full backup onto a clone of AS1 and subsequently use export/import to transfer it to your production system (online) where the major part of the configuration has been running all the time.
The size of a backup heavily depends on what you have installed...
