RTA board deinstallation
Hi guys,
We're working on a project of virtualization 6 servers (800xA v5.0 rev E). So 6 physical machines will be virtualized into two ESXi servers. Due to the fact that two servers are Advant Connectivity Servers and have physical RTA boards, and due to the fact that they will be replaced with external PU410 RTA boards, we're trying to uninstall current RTA boards from Virtual Machines through add/remove programs, but the operation is not succesfull.
Does anybody know how to resolve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Hrvoje

I don't think you need to uninstall any driver.
Search for the Product Bulletin/Release Note describing PU410 support for 800xA v5.0 on ABB Library. The conversion process should be described therein.
Likely you only need to reinstall the 800xA for Advant Master parts (incl. OnLine Builder) now selecting PU410 instead of PU515.
In case you need more assistance, please file an official support case with your regional ABB support center; we will be happy to service your support case in case it become escalated to SE L3. Please insist on having the case escalated to CoE for 800xA for Advant Master.
