AC900F CONTROL NET LINEA A&B
Hi, my name is Javier and I have a question about use ETH3 (redundant control NET-LINE B) in a AC900F.
I configure hardware
AC900F-Primary
ETH1-IP: 172.16.1.1 SubnetMask:255.255.240.0
ETH2- Redundancy Link
ETH3-Redundant Network IP:172.16.12.1 SubnetMask:255.255.240.0
ETH4- Disable
AC900F-Secondary or Redundant
ETH1-IP: 172.16.1.2 SubnetMask:255.255.240.0
ETH2- Redundancy Link
ETH3-Redundant Network IP:172.16.12.2 SubnetMask:255.255.240.0
ETH4- Disable
I have freelance 2016SP1. All operate ok.
Only what, the controllers don't tilt automatic when a AC900F loss connection in ETH3. Don't work the redundancy in line B only in line A.
I don't know if this is normal. Please I wait your answers.
Thank you

Looks for me that ETH1 and ETH3 is in the same subnet.
Start host adress: 172.16.0.1 to end host adress: 172.16.15.254

Hello Javier,
It looks both ETH1 and ETH3 are in same network range, you can set to different network range.
For example:
Primary controller ETH1-IP: 172.16.1.1, ETH3-IP: 172.17.1.1, Subnet Mask:255.255.240.0
Secondary controller ETH1-IP: 172.16.1.2, ETH3-IP: 172.17.1.2, Subnet Mask:255.255.240.0
If ETH1 fails then switch over to secondary controller
If ETH1 communicates and ETH3 fails then no switch over to secondary controller
