ACS-880. Function Block Programming - Need a Bi-Directional FlipFlop
Hello, Geof
Even though I put this question in the general list, I'm directing it to you because you are probably the closest to my time zone.
Been doing lots of function block programming in the Adaptive Programming feature of an ACS-880 drive. (I do not have any advanced firmware version).
But now I’m stuck. How can I lock the output of a “Greater Than” block when it becomes true or false? Using a SR block (connected to the output of the > block) with the Reset fixed at zero works if the input is initially 1. Thus the output stays at 1. But if the initial input is zero, and then later becomes 1, then the output becomes 1. In this case, I want the output to stay at zero.
The only available function blocks I have are found in the ABB document: Application Guide, Adaptive Programming, ABB, 3AXD50000028574
Any suggestions?
Many Thanks!

Likely you can use SR_D function block, see attached page from Drive Application Programming manual

Rob,
Sorry to say that I have never done any Drives programming, and only a small amount in the AC800M Controllers. I suggest that you should open a Support case with your Country Support Organization.
