800xA Update from 6.0.3 to 18.104.22.168 Controller Domain Error
I planned to make a system update from 6.0.3 to 22.214.171.124.
During a test of the update in a a testing system, I made a update to a identical real system. The update was performed using a centralized media distribution with no problems.
Then in the real system during a plant maintenance stop, I made a manual media distribution to prevent network problems.
I ran the NPT in each node following the instructions with no problens until I reach the domain controllers.
In the last part, the NPT system log show this error:
4/23/2020 10:53:31.638 AM -> Information: Version range from 6.0.00000.00000 to 6.0.029999.99999. 4/23/2020 10:53:31.650 AM -> Information: Installed agent version: <not installed> 4/23/2020 10:53:31.664 AM -> Information: Invoke command 'Executing bootstrap on configuration node.' I tried to install manually the software without success, the result was worst because the application fail and give a error message.
The solution was to make a centralized media distribution.
Anybody knows why?
