Function code 69 TSTALM Infi 90 / composer
Good morning , please we need to clarify something about TSTALM
It should be connected to MSDDDRV function code 129 , as you know TSTALM has H , L output , L is for getting the output status manual( 0) or auto ( 1) ,
and H , it is for example if we have bad output status from block 129 regarding to time out between the command sent to field and feedback from field and input mask , it would show bad status ( 1) then the TSTALM connected to 129 would show an alarm , Is it correct?
Thanks for your support
Yes, with TSTALM S1 set to the block address (output N) of the MSDD to be tested and TSTALM S2 set to 2, output N (H) indicates the alarm state of the DD/MSDD and so allows logic external to the DD/MSDD to be activated in the event of a DD/MSDD alarm condition. To clarify though, whilst the TSTALM output N (H) indicates that the DD/MSDD is in alarm it does not in itself possess any alarming function.
The second output, N+1 (L) indicates the mode of the DD/MSDD.
