If you feach time via SNTP from a Microsoft Windows computer, don't forget to adjust AnnounceFlags.

- You can use external time from GPS using SNTP ( Check the SNTP Setting in the controller and enter the IP address of the GPS)
- If you are looking to enter the controller time online - you can create the program for system diagnostic -> Go online -> Select Function Block -> Interaction Window -> Set the time

the scenario, you get the message "No time sync" in master controller when controller acts as an independent master/not taking any time pulse from any external source.
then you can set time from the CBM-tools-setup-timeset (possible only when time set enabled in true in H/W settings) this is true upto Sv5.1 Rev-x
Starting from Sv6.0------>Time set function has been removed from CBM to ensure GPS should be used to avoid SOE time lags/leads causing false info to production team. But still you can set time from CS by allowing time set function=true.
So looks you are in Sv6.0 or later be introduce GPS and follow the rules as per manual its simple and straight forward.
