ACS-880-11-101A5 drive in case of VSI supply
I needed to run my ACS-880-11-101A5 drive under an islanded mode configuration. I tried to run the drive with a grid-forming Back-to-back (B2B) converter supply. I connected the outputs of the B2B to the drive terminals and tried to run the drive when the motor was at no-load. It tripped and blown something (smokes came out of the drive) and gave the following fault details: Line side unit faulted (7583 hex), Aux code: 3E05 hex.
The B2B is supplied by the grid (3 phase, 400 V, 50Hz) and has an intermediate DC bus (620-720 V DC) and has an inductor of 250 micro-H at the output power stage. The output is 3phase. 400 V, 50 Hz.
When I connect the drive to the grid, it still works. But, I wonder if there is something blown in the drive and make sure if the drive works smoothly.
Thank you very much for your support and advice in advance.
