800xA Excel Template
Hi everyone,
Thanks in advance for your help.
after upgrading to this version V6.0 from V5.0 for some reason we didn't find the excel template. My questions is:
is it possible to use the old excel template from version 5.0 with the new one V6.0 taking on consideration the difference between excel version 2003 => 2016 ? Also are there any Excel template that do came the new version 800xa V6.0?
best regards.

The standard 800xA system comes with a number of Excel & Crystal Report Templates as a standard offering. Attached you will find an explanation of how these reports can be accessed. When researching my lab 800xA system, I could find no reference to the two reports that you have specified. I suspect that these were either made specifically for your system or that they are part of a separate Library that is being utilized in your specific system. The Properties selection of the Excel Template may provide you with the authors name. Regardless, all of the Standard Templates that are available, as I have shown, were originally configured on an early version of Excel, and are still able to be utilized in the current systems. Typically I will import these templates and save them back in the current running version of Excel so that they can take advantage of any added features with MS Office. The only question would be, if your reports are utilizing special ActiveX components or if they have VBE code embedded, you may need to verify that they are still operational in any new version of Excel. Should you need further assistance in getting these reports operational, I would suggest that you open a Support Case with your local Regional Support Center and start the process of tracking the work on this issue.
