Offset in IEC 104 Addressing
Hello sir,
In the SYS600_IEC 60870-5-104 Master Protocol PDF, its mentioned that
"In SYS600 both the input and output process objects share the same address range, which means that there cannot be two process objects with overlapping addresses. If the same address is needed for an input and output object, it can be achieved by using offsets that are outside the information address range limited by the IL attribute."
How can I implement this offset, because in my case there is overlapping address between different process objects coming from the RTU 104 Server.

... because I'm curious and power idling to wait for my $crosstoolchain to crash
Found the PDF you quoted from
But I think this is incomplete and only the configuration.
You need some parts of the proctocol specification.

I don't do Structed Text and/or programming on SYS600
So I have no clue about your API/Prototypes on SYS600/whatever,
so I don't know if there any primitives to setup the needed packets to your RTU104 Server and
send/receive them
And the two links for ABB documentation are restrited aka access denied inside ABB world, or some
other stuff because I'm paranoid
