How do I correct Compact Control Builder 6.0.0.1 System identity?
I installed Compact Control Builder on a programming workstation with a standard private network address. I used the setup wizard to change the project folder to a folder on a remote server via a mapped network drive. This is an arrangement I've used in the past and is currently working fine for a different project in the same remote server folder.
The Compiler Output file folder is CB169.254.25.134 instead of the correct IP address.
In CCB, HELP --> ABOUT screen shows the system identity as 169.254.25.134.
Why does CCB think that is my IP address and how can I change it?
All ethernet comms are fine and PC has no others problems.

169.254.25.134 is a DHCP self assigned address (no response from DHCP server).
Check your IP address configuration (ipconfig.exe or ncpa.cpl)
Static addresses are preferred in industrial equipment.
