Safeguard power supply migration
we're considering about replacing the existing PMP3.24DC power supply modules with a newer simple DC power supplies (i.e. Phoenix Contact Quint Power that has + and - 24VDC wires) on Dual Safeguard controller.
Do you have any suggestions regarding that? Is this possible? Does Safeguard have some internal power supply diagnostics that would prevent the power supply migration?
Thanks in advance,
There is an official certified successor, a modular supply available from the Safeguard team in SD196 which can be installed in redundant configurations.
It is installed in a rack RF196, similar to the PMP3.24DC
The module does not support +-12 Volt which is required if you have fire & gas detector boards.
In all other cases this supply can be used, but it has a different form factor and re-wiring is required.

I think that your best option is to ask directly to support or to email@example.com., because I know that there is or was planning to release a new series power units for SG400. Although the new power module are Not pin-compatible with old versions, they should be have the solution.
