ID fan tripped due to External fault 9081 in ACS 880
Frequently once in week our ID Fan is tripping by showing External Fault-1 9081in VFD ACS 880. how can i rectify the issue. kindly suggest me.
Also can i select Auto Reset for these External fault-1 only?

Directly from the FW manual:
9801 = fault in external device.
Maybe you should understand why, this external device causes a stop of your drive, and eventually solve this anomaly of your process.
A possible autoreset method concerns the parameter group 31.12 and subsequent, i.e. the selection of the autoreset modes and the attempts that the drive will make before going into the permanent fault state.
Since these are operations that can potentially involve the safety of people and things, I strongly recommend that you analyze very well the consequences of an automated autoreset .
