Displaying Damper Position of ACS880 LCP
I hope everyone is doing great.
We at a cement plant using ACS880-04XT-2170A-7 for a suction fan. The drive is communicating with the DCS using FBA. There is a damper to control the suction of the fan and the position of damper (0-100%) is going directly to the DCS. I want to display the damper position from DCS to the drive Local Control Panel (LCP) display.
What will be the steps to configure the new value through FBA data out (Parameter Group 53) to display the position on the display, considering I can send that signal from DCS like other signal i.e. speed set point.
Thanks a lot in anticipation.

Hi
A possible solution could be to write, from DCS to the drive, the value of the damper in parameter 53.06 or in any case in the first free register that you are not using to manage the drive from the DCS, always in group 53.
Since I don't have the simulator available at the moment, I suggest you do some tests.
To display the value that you transferred from the DCS on the drive panel, you must select the row of the main screen of the panel and link the display to the parameter where you placed the data from the DCS.
Alternatively, you can try to use the parameters of group 47 as support, if you have to make some adaptations -for example of scale-.
Hope this help you
