DSBC174 Redundant S100 Connection Kit
Hi, I have an AC450 with Redundant PM511V16 Connected to 3 S100 I/O Sub-Racks (DSRF187AK02 Art no. 3BSE014079r1) with Single DSBC174, So I need to Change the Single DSBC174 to be Redundant DSBC174.
My Question is, Can I use the Redundant S100 Connection Kit DSBC174K41, DSBC174K45 and DSBC174K46 with S100 I/O Sub-Rack (DSRF187AK02) or to Use DSBC174K21, DSBC174K26 and DSBC174K25?
Thanks a lot

Hello.
Sorry for late reply.
Yes you can use these kit's to upgrade to redundant DSBC174.
When you order these three price list items you will get all needed cables and 6 DSBC 174 boards.
Cable length between CPU rack and I/O rack 1is around 3 meter
Cable length between I/O rack 1 and 2 is 4 meters
Cable length between I/O rack 2 and 3 is around 0,5 meter (I/O racks suppose to be mounted above each other for I/O rack 2 and 3.
Early DSRF187 racks may not have pre- drilled holes to mount the second ribbon cable contact as the side of the rack
If these four holes are missing, you simply drill four new holes, size 2,6 mm.
The holes are for thread forming M3 screws.
Best Regards
