Update property in primitive graphic in c# V2
As a follow up to my question 'update property in primitive graphic in c#' another question.
I think I found the code responsible for updating the properties in 800xA with the C# variable.
The problem now is that I wanna use this code, but I don't know which value I have to pass on to the 'IDataAccess accessor'.
Is there a way to see which value i have to pass on?
Thank you in advance,
Details of how to use these are in the PG2 Graphics manual appendices and on-line help. The item hosted elements are extremely powerful, and can do things like write to multiple properties at the same time, write on events, read from different elements etc. I've not yet come across anything that can't be solved by using them (including duplicating some pretty ugly WinCC event driven code for Siemens PLCs) - with the advantage of not needing to use non-standard C# programming that the next guy in line wont understand.
While I usually don't recommend late binding, For simple elements referencing one or 2 properties, with a DIRECT object path requiring minimal searching, it can actually work quite well. Late binding allows you to write to multiple different objects.
A combination of Item Hosted Elements and Late Binding allows you to read and write to multiple properties in different objects all on the same (or different) event.
