Witch bloc function to use with S800 and infi90?
we are trying to Add remote IO to our infi90 DCS with symphony plus using BRC410 framework M. we think to use IOR800 in a star configuration connected to TB825 modules and to TB820 and IO modules.
my question is witch block function to use in the BRC410 configuration to use to use the remote IO ?
Thank you

Hi,
To successfully implement the S800 IO in a BRC you will need the following function codes...
FC227 - To define a gateway to the S800 IO subsystem.
FC228 - To define each of the IO modules in the S800 IO subsystem.
FC221/222/223/224/225/229 - To define each of the channels in the IO module defined by each of the FC228.
Probably best to refer to the following documentation. I have only included the IOR810 reference as the IOR800 is superseded.
2VAA002595 - IOR810 Gateway User Manual. There is a section on configuration that deals with the function code requirements and configuration of the S800 I/O subsystem.
2VAA000844 - S+ Engineering Function code reference user manual. This may have a more detailed explanation of the function code specifications.
There are also templates in Composer / S+ Engineering for the IO modules. This should get you started for the device and channel definition.

Alan
