changing the display become very slow
Hi.
In our project we have redundant aspect server , and four operator stations.
Sometimes operator doesn't use a client station for a while ( like half an hour).
After that , client becomes very slow on calling graphics or doing anything related to 800xa.
but windows itself is normal.
when you do some jobs in ABB environment ( 3-5 minutes ) it becomes normal again.
Graphic diagnostic says calling up graphic is about 1 second but actually it is much more than that.
Every service is running and normal.
800xa v6.0.0
does anybody have any suggestion.

Look like an hibernate of your hard drive.
Try having Task Manager open when leaving the computer, let the Processes tab be on display with the PF Delta column added.
Does PF Delta shoot high when waking the workplace?
1) Add more RAM (at least 8 GB on 64 bit OS)
2) Replace mechanical disk with SSD or PCIe M.2

****Microsoft Windows has a tendency to swap out inactive processes, this can be somewhat improved by installing more RAM and/or faster hard disks****.
thank you very much for your answers I will check what you mentioned.
again thanks alot.

Hi!
Antivirus sw scan?
Good luck
Check your NIC Card Settings. Most NIC cards have Power Save if there is no Network activity. I would disable all NIC cards Power Management.
