Drive not starting ACS880
Apologies in advance for the lack of detail, but if you tell me what additional information you require I will supply.
We have an ABB ACS880 with Fena-11 for ethernet connection, configured for MODBUS TCP, MB/TCP ABB C
Also connected is a Scanter 2202 Radar
Using the ABB Drive Pro software we can start and stop the motor.
We have also been supplied software for Radar Control. The Fena-11 and Radar Transceiver are connected to a netgear switch.
Although we can connect to the Drive to start and stop the motor via ABB Drive Pro Software , we are unable to Start and Stop the the motor via the Radar software.
Any guidance appreciated.

Hi
as I understand it, with an ABB tool - I think it is Drive Composer Pro - you can start the drive. This is normal and it would be serious if you couldn't do it!
For your application, the drive will be configured as a slave in ModBus TCP.
The start and stop commands must be sent correctly by the master, and what you say should be this Scanter 2202 Radar device, which unfortunately I don't know.
Management commands via MosBus depend on the master and a correct drive configuration, not knowing the master it is difficult to help you.
Have you tried to ask the supplier of this device if you have already done some applications with ABB products?
If you can give us more information, we can help you better
