SPDC Tool Automation/SChedule
Looking to see if anyone has automated the SPDC tool to run at a scheduled time/day particularly the Performance status AC800M. The tool currently takes approx 5 hours to run on a large system we have. We use this tool for regular health checks on the system and would like to have it run automatically the night before then we can remotely connect and download .zip file.

The AC800M Fingerprint is collected by a standard component of 800xA v 6.0+; C:\Program Files (x86)\ABB Industrial IT\Control IT\AC 800M Fingerprint\AC800MFingerprint.exe. The execution time is a few minutes (mainly depending on the number of controllers).
The output is written to a sub folder below C:\ABB Industrial IT Data\Control IT Data\AC 800M Fingerprint; the folder name is auto generated from the computer clock.
The main output file is the Fingerprint.txt (the content is tab-separated) and can easily be treated by MS Excel and other similar tools.
Perhaps you can solve your problem using a Scheduled Task and some Powershell macros?

You can go to the Control System Monitoring add-in in My Control System and check for details with your regional Automation Sentinel driver.

You can install and configure ServicePort. It will automatically collect the SPDC data and analyze it at defined schedule. No need to upload the zip file to MCS. However mind that it is not for free. contact your local ABB support for a demo.
