ACS550 Reference Menu Frequency Resolution on Basic Keypad
Hello
I am using ACS550-01 to drive a 10 kW electro-pump without speed feedback.
We need to control the frequency with 0.1Hz resolution but decimal point is not shown on Basic Keypad while Reference Menu Frequency is being set.
9902 APPLIC MACRO = 1
9904 MOTOR CTRL MODE = 3

Hi
first of all, you need to change the control mode of your drive from scalar to vector --> 99.04 = 1
After this operation, you need to re do the ID run of the drive with the motor, to obtain the best performance between the motor and the drive.
You have with this configuration, not the reference in Hz but in RPM. Be aware that you will need to change the limits in parameter group 20
Of course, without speed feedback - for example an encoder - speed regulation will not be optimal.
in my opinion, with a pump this precision in adjusting the speed is a bit excessive, but if you need it that way, you can try
