ACS880 crane motor starts in reverse for 20 rpm then in forward when forward command is given from control panel
Dear All,
In ACS880 drive crane application, I want to hoist load. I have done Normal ID run with motor decoupled. But, When I give command from control panel in forward direction then motor starts in reverse first at almost 20 RPM then in forward direction. When I give reverse command then motor starts in forward at almost 20 RPM then in reverse direction. Control mode is DTC. But when I select Scalar mode then no problem found. Which Parameter I need to check for Local Start/stop.
Can I do separate autotune for ACS880? Please assist with procedure? For Autotune, should I add full mechanical load (like- 22Ton)?
Please help. Its urgent.
Regards,
SS

Hello,
Your application is sensorless ?
If no, remove the sensor and execute autotune without load and and run your motor in OLV (Open Loop Vector).
Best regards.

Hi
you can try to re-run the ID Run in advanced mode, of course with no load at the motor, without gearbox, then check how parameter 21.01 is set and try between automatic or fast mode, in this way you should solve.
Let us know about the results
