ACS880 - stop mode via profibus communication
Hi,
I am using PM573 -Eth and CM592-DP to communicate ACS880 dirves (FPBA card) . Start/ Stop and speed reference are via profibus only .
the motor is coupled with gear box and gear box output is coupled with roller.
Initially i send control word as 1142 and then 1143 as CW.
To run the motor i send 1151 as CW to stop the motor i send 1143 as CW. In drive parameter setting i set stop mode as Ramp and Deceleration time as 100 sec. Now Motor running in 985 (maximum rpm).
when i send 1143 as CW and speed reference as zero to stop , the roller stopped immediately. for this application roller should stop ramp down slowly.
which CW is used to make ramp stop?

Hi
the commands you used are correct, 1143 is exactly the stop command on the ramp. So if the ProfiBus commands are correct, maybe you need to look for a response in the drive parameters, for example how you set parameter 23.13 or parameter 28.73.
Try these checks and let me know if you have solved.
