How to open the page links on the same screen on the two screen work place?
Hi Stefan,
Hoping you could help me with the issue below. I have posted the question below on the general forum as well.
We have 800xA 5.1 FP4 Rev D
In the two screen workplace set up when we open the page links (aspect view) in the second screen the corresponding page opens in the 1st screen (replaces the graphics in the 1st screen) instead of the screen we clicked. The Presentation mode of the links are set to "replace" but it still opens in the other screen. The only way to open the links in the same screen is to click the "set / Clear Primary target".
Is there any way to open the links on the same screen Without pressing the set primary target button?
Could this be because of wrong "profile values" or "View class Values" ?

What is your Replacement Strategy setting?
IIRC, the Replacement Strategy setting "Replace" is a global operation, e.g. a new faceplate will replace the oldest existing faceplate, on any screen. To keep the oldest (until max no of windows is reached) use Replacement Strategt "Preserve".
I suspect "Pinning" is not desirable in your use case?
I also seem to remember that the functionality has been improved over the years (5.1RevD is not among the most recent versions). Have you searched release notes for any change in this area? Maybe "Replace on same screen" was added or corrected in a subsequent version or rollup? E.g. the correction of PIN 800xASYS-OL-5140-072 in 5.1RevE may have brought a more desirable behavior for you?
