800xA Operator Trend Template for MOD Control Connection
Hi All,
I need to create a trend template using a log configuration
that require n.3 property log (MEASURE, SETPOINT, RESULT).
I have already done this kind of activity the problem is that I did not understant
how the create a correct trend template setup with the value range in column
Lo Range and Hi range. This happens automatically for the property MEASURE
and RESULT but the range of the SETPOINT property is defaulted to -100 and +100
My question is "How can I configure the Log configuration or the in order to have
the proper HI range and LO Range also for the SETPOINT property log.
Answers
I have the same queue.
The Control Connection aspect support auto scaling for trends. I believe MOD300 uses same mechanism as its sibling 800xA for Advant Master.
On the Property Info tab, enable the Additional Info checkbox for the properties needing scaling (MEASURE should already have this enabled).
On the Additional Info tab, make static entries or select dynamic scaling. Again, look at how MEASURE is configured.
Use this locally (on instance level) or on object type level. You might have to delete and upload desired instances again to get this to work (CCA data is sometimes local, sometimes central).

Sorry I was wrong.
Below how 800xA for Advant Master and Genric OPC uses the Additional Info feature of the Control Connection aspect.

In lack of the CCA framework, scaling can be made by using the Property Extension Info aspect.

Last resort is to hardcode the scaling on the Log Configuration aspect (separate entry is possible on each log level)
