How to do a Scheduled Backup of 800xa?
have any differences between backup of 800xa in V5.0.1 and V6? from Automatic and manual Aspect?

Use scheduling structure to schedule backup of 800XA..

Hi,
Partial Backup:
a. Launch Import-Export tool from PPA.
b. Drag the required Object/Structure from the PPA by a mouse click and Drop it on the Import-Export tool.
c. The Add items dialogue appears showing the selected Object/structure to be imported. If required select the Options Include Dependencies and Include Children. Click OK.
d. The Finished adding items box opens. Click Done.
e. Click on Save option to save the Object/structure as .afw file in specified location.
2. Full backup ( Maintenance Backup):
a. In the Service Structure select Backup Service.
b. Select the Default Service Group and under it, the default Service Provider.
c. In right side and select the Service Provider Definition Aspect.
d. In Configuration tab give the Node name where backup needs to be taken.(generally Aspect Server). Check the Enabled check box.
e. In Special Configuration tab, give the Backup Path to store the Backup. Enter the Free Disk Space and Low Disk Space Limits.
f. Click Apply and close.
g. The Backup Service in the Service Connection Viewer should show Running status and should not be Faulty or Stopped

h. Goto Maintenance Structure and select Backup Definitions Object.
i. Under that create a new backup definition of object type Full backup Definition, give it a name.
j. Select the newly created Full Backup Definition object, in the right side select the Backup Definition Aspect.
k. In the Scope Tab select the Backup type from dropdown as required.
l. In the Storage Tab enter the Service Provider. The remaining thing will automatically be taken care of by the Service Provider definition.
m. Goto Summary and Start Backup tab to see the Summary.
n. Click on Start Backup Button to start the backup.
For scheduling create new job in scheduling structure.
