ACS880-07-0522A-7 will not start in remote and local mode
Our drive with model ACS880-07-0522A-7 was running normally and suddenly stop with PU Communication Fault (Error Code 5681). After checking the control unit and power unit connections restarted the drive but could not start it anymore both in remote and local mode.
Observed that ACS880 Temp monitoring is steady at 40 degrees Celsius, but room temperature with air conditioning system installed is only at 24 degrees Centigrade. The other drive located in the same room only registering 27 degrees Celsius. We tried to replace the control unit but still with 40 degrees Celsius AC880 Temp monitoring and can not be started in remote and in local mode.
What should we check or need to replace?

Hi
first of all, could it be useful to understand how the start and stop command is made - via hardware or via fieldbus? - and if there are other conditionings present at the level of run enable, for example interlocks or other commands wired on the terminal board / via fieldbus .
The issue regarding the detected temperature could influence in some way, but without any information of how the drive was programmed, for the moment I do not exclude it but neither does the impute as the first cause of your problem..
