"Load" inside "show selected objects" (Freelance Engineering)
In Freelance 2016, when you open "show selected objects" in the P-tree, the button "load" is greyed out.
Sometimes it comes in handy, for instance if you create a program which only has side effects on one task, but uses a new FB which isn't yet loaded onto the controller. So the resource itself is also shown in yellow and there is an angle bracket in front of it. If I click "load changed objects" on the resource itself, the whole resource is stopped, not only the affected task.
In 9.1, I'd show selected objects on the resource, manually load the class (angle bracket vanishes), and then load changed objects on the task -- stopping only the affected task and not the whole resource.
Also, if you change the variable list (normally affecting the resource with green colour) and create a program that uses them (normally yellow at worst), the net result is red colour and the resource must be stopped completely while loading. In this case, in 9.1, you could first selectively load the variables and then do "load changed objects" on task level.
Is there a way to re-enable said button? Or is careful selective loading generally a bad idea? I vaguely remember that there was a comment about why it was disabled in the What's New documents, but unfortunately couldn't find it (2013/2016).
Thanks and best regards
