ACS310 Drive Displays "Drive not responding" - Unresponsive control panel with clicking noise
Hello,
We have a ACS310 that has been in service in excess of 7 years with no issues. It is used to ramp up a ventilation motor. All of a sudden it has stopped working. When power is sent to the unit it just displays "Drive not responding." There is also a clicking noise that occurs.
When the control panel is taken out, the green and red LEDs blink in a pattern. I believe the green LED Is blinking in unison with the clicking noise.
All of the buttons on the control panel on non responsive/don't do anything. Replaced the CR2032 battery in the controller, even though I know it's for memory timekeeping only. All connections are are tight and clean. Resetting the power to the unit does not affect the outcome. Disconnecting power for 1 minute to 1 day does not change anything.
I've attached a picture of the display as from all research I've done online, I believe we should have an associated Fault Code displayed on the controller? The display doesn't have any numerical code that shows. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

Hi
the noise of the click you hear is, in my opinion, a relay on board the drive that trips.
As for the fault you are reporting, it would seem that the section of the control board that is used for communication with the panel has gone out of order. There is no precise reason, perhaps a component that has stopped working, perhaps the effect of some flash in power supply.
It's not worth repairing the unit, I'm afraid you'll need to buy a new one.

Thanks for the reply and advice! Would there be any chance of transferring the data/settings onto a new ABB drive? Either by finding an older ACS310 or by getting a newer ABB drive?
