Can you view which nodes are running Control Builder
We have a license to use 3 Control Builder M's. Currently, it says we are using all three but I only know of two that we have open. I know there is a Running workplace aspect where you can view workplaces open with the user but is there something similar that can show which nodes are running Control Builder without having to go to the actual machine?

unfortunately no
Using Windows WMI you can see what's running on any machine in your network.
i have whatsup Gold monitoring my lan so for me it's easy.
Google for WMI tools. Perhaps solarwinds free WMI tool.

You can use RDP to remote into the machine, open task manager, and check to see if control builder is running under any user on the machine. You should be able to manually force close (use sparingly, this will close any active, unsaved windows in CB on that machine) by R-Clicking on the CB process and selecting end process.
I don't believe there is a way similar to "Running Workplace" to see where Cb is running.

Had another thought. You can run TSadmin which views all RDP connections, but it also has a tab that shows what is running on the machine you select.
its available on windows 7. Cannot remember if you have to add it as a program or if it is installed by default in windows. It's one of those you need run from the "run" command I think.

Yes,
License Server node > License Assignment Editor > Diagnostics > scroll to Control Builder M and check what nodes have a CBM license granted.
The LAE is an URL; copy it and you may access it from any node in the system.
