AfwWorkplaceModuleApplication Module has Stopped Working
We have a CHMI System and We are getting "AfwWorkplaceModuleApplication Module has Stopped Working" this message continuously at random times and we need to either reopen workplace or restart PC to start with.
PC has good amount of free memory, Drivers are all latest, Windows Version 8 and CHMI is V6.

What step / action is causing the workplace to crash? Is it while trying to open a graphic page? Or trying to open SFC Viewer aspect? You can try searching for a known issue in the ABB library. But I would suggest you to collect the AfwWorkplaceApplication crash dump(s) and contact your regional support center for further assistance.
The common root cause for this including restart the PC, which caught my eye
is from the top - device drivers - bad memory, if you have no ECC-RAM so please check if you have latest (upstream) graphics card drivers the are notoriously known to be bad ...
