Update all objects in BDM not working
I am trying to refresh values in excel with Bulk data manager.
Draging objects from control structure works OK.
Writing proberty values back to 800xA from BDM also works by pressing "Save all objects"
When deleting some data in the excel file such as the data in columnt with heading "Description" and then pressing "Update all objects", nothing happens.
Shouldn't this work?
Any tips what to do to make this work?

If the cell value is "blank" then no changes are written.
IIRC - to clear a cell set the value to '<space>

If I remember using the old excel add-in correctly, there was a very easy way to update or "refresh" data from the application to the BDM spreadsheet. In the new stand-alone BDM it appears to no longer be a typical function!
Advice from ABB: "in order to have cells updatable values from 800xA you must insert the property reference into those cells. After that Update Selection / Update All will work". See the screen shot below. Sadly it appears to be a rather complicated process that has to be done on each cell individually!

Did you resolve this? I think I have the same issue - if I update an object in Control Builder I want to refresh my BDM spreadsheet, but I can't Update Objects....

Unfortuneately this was not resolved in my case. I assume somebody knows if this should work or not.
It would be good if you sened in a new question again
Maybe someone who knows sees it and answeres.
