*** Clearing Cache in Smart Client client nodes
Delete the cache folder from "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ABB Smart Client"
Delete the 2.0 folder from "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Apps
(FYI – cache folder caches the Smart Client non-PG2 assemblies & 2.0 folder caches the Smart Client PG2 assemblies, if applicable. You can delete them and later they will get re-created while re-launching the SC Desktop)
<username> = the login user when launching the Smart Client application. There may be multiple users on any given machine.
If this does not resolve the issue, you should look at the Smart Client log files in both the Smart Client Server and in the Smart Client 800xA Data Provider node. For both nodes, these are located in the directory, C:\Abblogs.
After doing these steps, if the problem persists, I would suggest opening a Support Case with your local regional support center.
