Connectivity Server Low Space
Dear colleagues, good day!
ABB 800xA Base. version 5.1-4.
We facing with next problem: operator station lost trends. Sometimes it's happens, in that situation we restarted basic history.
In this time we again restarted service, but after that free space at all connectivity servers disappeared. And at all operator station data disappear too. (Like no connection with connectivity server). Before that free space at server hold constant.

Only when we increased free space at Connectivity server trends, values at the operator panel was restored.
Have any body similar problem with connectivity problem?

What disk is your History Stored on ?
DO NOT Store history on Drive C ( the main windows partition ). If you fill the Main Partition you will kill Windows. Windows cannot operate correctly with a full disk. No Windows Services = No History Logging. Move the History to Drive D.
Did you change the History Log Configuration ?
Basic History should Pre-Allocate All of the required file space every time you create a new log configuration. So you should not fill the disk just because you restarted history services.
Large changes to History logs however can sometimes stall the history services - and restarting the services is required to clear the fault. In this case, then yes, the History services may finish processing all your changes and allocate more disk space during the restart.
