License 800xa Usage
We have popup error license for one of our customer . Here are the report problem :
-<ProjectGroup ProjectGroup="800XA FIELDBUS"> <Feature MaxRequested="13" AdditionalRequired="13" Requested="13" Available="NO LICENSES" Feature="FBUS_PROFI_HART"/>
</ProjectGroup> <Feature MaxRequested="3" AdditionalRequired="3" Requested="2" Available="NO LICENSES" Feature="PG2_SYMBOLFACTORY_CONTROLS"/>
My question :
1. We use profibus IO( CI854 and CI840 combination, AI845 for analog IO), but We don't activate HART function. What feature can activate "FBUS_PROFI_HART" ?
2. If we redraw the graphic and delete all component for from PG2 symbol factory. Can it clear this license usage for Symbol Factory?
Thanks for your support.

… where FBUS licenses means : “FBUS_HART”, represented as HART Device Aspect Objects “FBUS_PROFI”, represented as PROFIBUS Device Aspect Objects (In the License Usage aspect they are pooled as “FBUS _PROFI_HART”)
No license is required for: - I/O-Modules
- Modulbus object
- CI854 object
We have with success followed this instruction:
Correcting FBUS_PROFI_HART license errors
Start by running the LicenseCounting.exe file in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\ABB Industrial IT\Engineer IT\Fieldbus Builder\bin
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\ABB Industrial IT\Engineer IT\Fieldbus Builder\bin
This tool will return the correct number of licenses needed for the FBUS_PROFI_HART license.
Check that the License Status Viewer (installed on the license server, usually AS1) shows the same license count. If not, try waiting 30 minutes to see if it updates.
Search for the aspects that demand a license:
· Device Management Aspects· Fieldbus Management Aspects
· Property Management Aspects

These aspects will appear in many different object types (all Profibus or HART devices with DTM) but the following object types containing these aspect do NOT require a license and the aspects should therefore not be deleted from these objects:
- · I/O Modules
- · Modulebus objects
- · CI854, CI840, CI801
- · CI920
- · S900
In our case it is usually only the UMC100 objects that require a license (on the quattro block level: ABB_PDQ22_FBP_DP or similar).
Each object will contain all 3 aspect types mentioned above but will only require 1 license. Check that the number of licenses match the number of objects identified.
If the object count matches the license count, then delete the 3 aspects from the objects that require a license. The aspects should only be removed in the Control Structure!
Restart the ABB Client License Provider Service on the license server.

Wait for the License Status Viewer to update (could take half an hour or so).
Check that new hardware can be added to the hardware structure (that the hardware library is not corrupted). If not, refer to the 800xA FIELD_PROFI_HART DTM Aspect Validation and Repair Guide (on IC_Proj drive).
