attached is a screenshot of a message window that appears when
I try to use Datadirect in my IM
Addin seem installed correctly as suggested by the User Manual
Please help me to get rid of this problem, if possible.

It is Microsoft error, Did you try the Microsoft recommendation described in the error message itself? Check the file block settings in the Trust center

Hi,
What office version you are using and what excel file type are you trying for datadirect. For 2013 and above you can try clearing the file block settings as shown in the attached screenshot. Excel file format generally used for reporting purpose is .xlsx
If this doesn't help, reinstallation of office may help.

Assuming that this problem first started when you added the DataDirect Toolbars, you may try the answer that is seen in the attached document, as this file may have become corrupt when the toolbars were added. If this does not resolve the issue or if it may cause other issues, you can always revert back to the original. This file is typically present under the ../Users/800xAService user location, that is if the DataDirect Toolbars were added as the Service Account user as they should have been.
