ACS880 Bumpless transfer form local to remote
Dear All,
How to configure the ACS880 drive to do a bumpless switch from Local mode to Remote mode?
when l switch it it stops the pump and then started again although it receives the start command before switching it.

Hi there,
I'm not sure but, try change 20.02 Ext1 start trigger type from "Edge" to "Level" (if using EXT1 in remote).

Hi
IMHO this is not casual but decided from the logic of the drive, for security reasons.
In fact, you can have in LOCAL one direction of rotation of the motor and in REMOTE one other, so when you switch from LOCAL to REMOTE, then the drive first stop the motor and then actuate the new start in the desired condition. This is probably not valid for a pump, but is sure valid for example for a roller or conveyor. If you have a bit patience I try to verify if is possible one other condition to do what you have required.
