Access rights freelance operations
Good morning
I created a new graphic display for the freelance system, freelance operation is installed in two operator stations and it is installed in the engineering station, the new FGR works properly in the engineering station but it is not possible to open it in the two operator stations, when trying to open it appears the next message " Operator has not access rights for the display Overview", I think it is something related to the Security Lock installed in the operation stations, but I don´t know how to provide access rights to the new display.
Thanks for your help

Hello, Orlando.
You should first check to have Security Lock installed in all your stations. After checking this, you should configure groups and users in Security Lock. You can give access on different levels to each group (engineering, commissioning, configuring, and such).
Then, you need to configure Access Rights to your desired items. This can be done in the Project Tree of the Engineering Station. You can set Access Rights to specific FGRs and even Function Blocks. You can do this by clicking over the desired item(s) on the Project Tree and the going to Edit->Access Rights. There, you will see the groups you have previously configured. You can propagate or inherit these permissions to other items in the same Structre Node of the Project Tree.
On your Operating Station, you will need to login with the credentials you set on Security Lock. This can be done by going to Tools->Login/Log over. On the right inferior corner of the screen you should see the current user. Now you should be able to navigate to the desired pages. Also, in the FGR visualization of the Operator Station, you will see an open lock, indicating that you have permission to operate that display.
I'm also attaching an extract on Security Lock from Freelance 2016 documentation.
Good luck!

Hello Orlando,
I guess that the security lock is installed in all Operator Stations and the Group and User configuration has been done, because it works for all the other displays apparently.
So the only thing missing is, that you need to assign access rights of the different groups to your new display. Users will get the access the group has that they belong to.
Check the settings for another display (a reference) which has the same access you wish to give to your Overview display. Select that reference display and go to Edit > Access rights. Note the settings for the different groups. Then select your display and also go to Edit > Access rights. Then check the same check boxes like you have seen in your reference display.
Don't forget to Plausibility check your changes and download it to all the Operator stations.
Then it should work as intended.
