Error extracting file from FSD
Hello,
We can not open projects via the Control Builder M due to missing HW libraries on the clients (Engineering Workstations) but the Control Builder M is working properly on the Aspect server. We receive an error message "Error extracting file from FSD" see screenshot in attachment. We rebooted the Aspect Server and the Clients but it did not help. Could you please helps us?
Product: ABB Control Builder M Professional 6.0.0
Version: 6.0.0/1
Build: 6.0.100.27
Thank you in advance

- Check [Workplace Structure]Web System Workplace:System Event List for FSD or Aspect Directory issues.
If you see "access is denied" check clients' IP addresses vs all hosts-files and reapply the Config Wizard->System Software User settings. - Try stopping troublemaking client's AfwFsdNode.exe process, remove the \OperateITTemp\FsdCache folder then retry opening the project.
- If you have multiple aspect servers, shut down all but the one where the project is possible to open (this forces clients to use that server's FSD service). If this works, FSD may be forced to sync by renaming the \OperateITData\FSDServer folder in "bad" servers and rebooting them. Wait for FSD to reach service state, then try opening the project again.
- File a support case with your regional ABB support team
