How many independant combined ASCS servers are connected?
Dear sir,
Is there anybody connects CS more than two in one system? if so, how many independent CS are connected in one system?
Actually, I am trying to connect 5 combined servers in one system.
System is 800xA and AC800 CPU.
Thanks.
Best regards,

Hi,
The number of connectivity servers required by a system depends on number of functions used by system.
I guess maximum number of connectivity server in a system can be 12 redundant set of servers.

Max 8 (16) AC 800M Connectivity Servers in a system w.r.t. SV 6.0 and SV 6.1. Refer attached screenshot.
Note: The numbers presented are upper limits. Depending on system load, the actual maximum for a given application may be smaller.

Your limit is not the number of Connectivity Servers - It is the number of ASPECT servers. The maximum limit in a standard system is 3*AS. There is no such thing as an "independent" aspect server. If you want to have more than 3 Aspect servers, then you have to raise a TSA (Temporary Sales Authority) and really at that point you are "on your own". You will have a non standard system layout with very limited field experience on other sites.
I assume this is a follow up to your previous question about how you can use multiple systems to mimic the functionality of the old Advant standalone stations. In that case you are implying that you want to use multiple Systems - where every workstation is it's own independent 800xa System. And that case engineering changes on one system would have to be manually copied from one system to another.
