Is it possible that 800xA History server can access the real time data form Harmony OPC server instead of 800xA ?

Harmony OPC (HOPC 6.0) will interface with Control network via CIU800 ( SPNIS21+ IET800) for gathering real-time data for history purpose. Please refer the attached red cloud mark-up diagram to be proposed.
Is it possible that 800xA History server can access the real time data form Harmony OPC server (HOPC 6.0) instead of 800xA ?
Answers
The simple answer is yes, however, there are some complexities to this configuration. Since the Symphony+ System is feeding the 800xA System, (through Harmony Connect nodes), if you add an 800xA History product to this configuration, it will need to be integrated into the 800xA System, which means that the access to OPC data is through the 800xA OPC Server, which is done through either embedded DCN nodes or standalone DCN nodes, (with the embedded DCN nodes typically installed on a Connectivity Server), not directly to the Harmony OPC Server. This would them make the real-time data available to the Operator Consoles on the 800xA system in a fully integrated manor, including both individual numeric data points on a 800xA PG2 graphic and in the Trending of the data.
If you wanted to add the History Server to a non-800xA system directly, such as Symphony+, there is an option for that, which is called cpmHistory, which includes standalone DCN node(s) to feed the data to the cpmHistory Server. However, in this situation, the data would NOT be available to the 800xA Operator Consoles as with the 800xA History version of this product. Additionally, the cpmHistory product is typically not part of the 800xA order process, and would most likely require a special procedure to obtain this configuration.
Since you indicated that the 800xA system is at version 5.1, this would mean for the 800xA History product, you would be utilizing 800xA History version 2.0. To obtain 800xA History 6.0, the base 800xA system would need to be upgraded also.
I am not sure the reason you have for wanting to connect directly to the Symphony+ system directly, but I believe these are the options that you have at this time. As always, there may be a method other than those presented here that can be utilized, however, I know of no such installation at this time.

Yes, it is possible.
Install HOPC utility and perform HOPC server configuration as per "2VAA008521-700_-en_Harmony_OPC_Server_Version_7.0_User_Manual".
For more information, refer flowchart under:
B. Typical New HOPC Configuration Flow page number 151.
Note: HOPC utility license required based on number of tags.
Any History server having OPC client can access the data from the HOPC server.
